Phillip D. Phipps

Phillips D. Phipps, 75 of Wheelersburg passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Best Care Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born October 13, 1946 in Portsmouth a son of the late Delena Smith Phipps Osborn and John Russell Phipps.

He is survived by one brother, Joe (Kris) Phipps; threes sisters, Virginia Sue Whitley, Patricia (Albert) Johnston, Diane Lindsay, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Wanda Joyce Cottrill, John Phipps, Harold Phipps, and Juanita Eikey.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Scioto Burial Park in McDermott with Pastor Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Friends may call at the cemetery from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
