Roberta Larrick Obituary

Roberta Evans Larrick, 89, of Portsmouth, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Hill View Retirement Center. Born July 20, 1925 in New Boston, a daughter of the late Clarence O. and Wilma H. Riegel Evans, she was a graduate of Wheelersburg High School in the class of 1943 and was active with the Wheelersburg Alumni Association for several years. She was employed by the Federal Civil Service Department of Defense at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, retiring with the highest civilian rank available. She is survived by two brothers, Bernard Evans and Wallace E. (Sylvia) Evans; two sisters, Lou (Roger) Nelson and Christine (Jesse) Cassada, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Larrick on April 27, 2004, and four brothers, T. Robert Evans, James O. Evans, Donald L. Evans, and Clarence E. Evans.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Rev. Dick North officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
