Sandra Brown

Sandra Brown, 64 of Stockdale passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her residence surrounded by loved ones. She was born April 2, 1957 in Rock House, Kentucky, a daughter of Opal Prater Temme and united in marriage to Roy "Tony" Brown on April 8, 1978 at Stockdale United Christian Church. She was employed by Pike County CTC and Skyline Family Restaurant. Sandy was a member of Stockdale United Christian Church, Pike County Dogwood Quilters, Homemakers, and Project Linus. She also volunteered for the Art Program at Eastern and for Girl Scouts.
 
In addition to her husband, Roy (Tony) Brown of 43 years, she is survived by her mother, Opal Prater Temme; three children, Donald (Amber) Brown of Stockdale, Roy Brown of Stockdale, Jennifer (Aaron) Saunders of Waverly; eight grandchildren, Lynnleigh, Evelyn, Chloe, Nola Brown, Larry, Allison Brown, Logan, Ella Blake Saunders, and four brothers, Mike Temme, Mark Temme, Matt Temme, and Marlin Temme.
 
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and Mary Alice Prater.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at Stockdale United Christian Church with Pastor Aaron Swango officiating. Burial will be in Stockdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
