Sandra Joan Hickman

Sandra Joan Hickman, 78 of Minford passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at University of Cincinnati. She was born June 2, 1945 in Scioto County, a daughter of the late Glen and Edith Fisher Powell; she was a school teacher and attended Minford Bible Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Eric (Jennifer) Hickman, Keith (Jill) Hickman; one daughter, Kristi (Randy) Hays; eleven grandchildren, Allison (Michael) Patterson, Sarah Hickman, Scott Hickman, Kasey Hickman, Kori Hickman, Kyla Hickman, Gabe Hickman, Miranda Melvin, Macy (Dennis) Fleming, Merrill (Christian) Downey, Miley Melvin; two sisters, Anita Pfleger, Cheryl (Michael) Shope, and one brother-in-law, David Shumway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Wayne Hickman on March 3, 2011; one sister, Karin Shumway, and one brother, Kenneth Powell.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Ken Estep officiating. Burial will be at White Gravel Cemetery in Minford.
