Obituary

Sheila Ann Dingess, 61 of Lucasville passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023 at her residence. She was born November 10, 1961 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late John W. and Rev. Lucy Dyer Dingess and was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by two sisters, Kimberly Davis of Lucasville, Tammy Charles of Minford; special niece/friend, Kelley Alley; nephews, TJ Bush, Matthew Dingess; niece, Katie; great niece, Cheyanne Davis; great nephew, John Alley, and many great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony “Tony” Dingess, Lorne “Rocky” Dingess; one sister, Johnna (Tim) Bush; brother-in-law, Mike Davis, and a nephew, Michael Davis. The family would like to give special thanks to Sandy Gaines for her excellent care.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Tera Gillem and Debbie Williams officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lucasville. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
