Shirley McGlone Obituary

Shirley Jane McGlone, 88, of Wheelersburg, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025 at SOMC Hospice. She was born June 11, 1936 in Michigan, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth McCarty Fraley. Shirley was a social worker at Portsmouth Receiving Hospital and worked at Kroger after her retirement.

She is survived by her son, John (Jury) Lem-mons, and her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Skeans.

Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Burial was at Universal Cemetery in Rubyville. Arrangements were under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
