Stephen Edward McClaskey

Stephen Edward McClaskey, 60, of Clarktown, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at SOMC ER.  He was born May 26, 1965 in Portsmouth, a son of the late Albert Curtiss, Sr. and Roberta Louise McClaskey, and was a 1983 graduate of Valley High School.

He is survived by his wife, Bethann (Larck) McClaskey; one daughter, Michelle Denise (Justin) Burgett; one son, Jacob Tyler McClaskey; five grandchildren, Oliver, Hayden, Kolton, Ryleigh, Mia; one brother, William “Bill” (Loanna) McClaskey, and his lifelong friends, John Hardin, Bobby Hamilton, and Shawn Downey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents; one grandson; two brothers, Jerry McClaskey, Albert McClaskey; three sisters, Mary Ann Snyder, Kim McClaskey, Kathy McClaskey; four nephews, Jason McClaskey, Joshua McClaskey, Brian Snyder, Richard Snyder, Jr., and one niece, Graciela Morales Diaz.
