Sue DeAtley

Sue Wessel DeAtley, 78, of Minford, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Portsmouth Health & Rehab. She was born December 25, 1946 in Rubyville, a daughter of the late Leonard S. and Mabel Clausing Wessel. She was a 1966 Clay High School graduate and was a homemaker.

She is survived by one brother, Roy L. (Sharlene) Wessel; one sister, Annette Mae (Perry) Gifford, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin DeAtley; one sister, Alice Wessel, and one brother, John Wessel.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Friday, May 23, 2025 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastors Calvin Ray Evans and Brian Baer officiating. Burial will be at I.O.O.F.
