Tyla Jean Crabtree

Tyla Jean Crabtree, 55, of Beaver, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at her home. She was born July 8, 1969 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Homer E. and Virginia L. Springer Crabtree, she was a nurse’s aid and worked at Giovanni’s in Minford. Tyla was loving, caring, and loved her family. She loved music and played the bass guitar and was an amazing singer.

She is survived by one son, Curtis Crabtree; one sister, Terrie L. White, and her nieces and nephews, Austin Jewitt, Tammy Sharp, Tonya Jewitt, Jay White, Abbigal White, and Ethan White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Dee Crabtree, and a nephew, Joseph Sharp.   

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024 at Stockdale Cemetery in Stockdale. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford.
