William Cordle

William Cordle, 90 of Minford passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at his home. He was born August 29, 1933 in Blaine, Kentucky, a son of the late Selca and Susie Ross Cordle, he was a former employee of Ideal Milk Co. for 22 years, and retired from Lockhead Martin. He was of the United Baptist faith.

He is survived by three sons, Billy Joe (Pat) Cordle, William Gregory Cordle, Jeffrey Cordle; one daughter, Gwen (Kenny) Webb; ten grandchildren, Harold Blaine, Jr., Billy Joe Cordle, II, Melissa (Mark) Watters, Michael (Brandi) Cordle, Brenda (Gerald) Boston, Misty (Dave) Snyder, April (Tommy) Walker, Jenny (Jerry) Sowards, Stpehanie Lundy, Keith Webb; great and great great grandchildren, and three sisters, Linda James, Janet (Mervin) Comer, and Mary (Richard) Reffitt. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Jean Cordle on March 26, 2016; one daughter, Donna Blaine; two great grandchildren, Kendra Walker, Ashton Sowards; eight brothers, Norman D. Cordle, in infancy, Selca Cordle, Jr., Dewey Cordle, Paul Cordle, Jack Cordle, Lacie Cordle, John Cordle, Floyd Cordle, and one sister, Minerva Cordle.

The family would like to thank his nurses who gave him excellent care.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2024 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be at White Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
