William Jay Hayton

William J. Hayton, 77, of Lucasville, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Rosemount Pavilion. He was born May 26, 1947 in Boyd County, Kentucky, a son of the late James D. and Ethel Carter Hayton and was a laborer.

He is survived by one sister, Florence Drummond; nieces, Robin Riddlebarger, Tammy Kight, Sheba Davidson, and several other nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Stella Riddlebarger, and three brothers, Luther Hayton, James Hayton, and Tom Hayton.

Graveside services will be conducted at Noon Monday, June 3, 2024 at Canter-Wells Cemetery in Lucasville. Arrangements are under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
