Wilma Warren Obituary

Wilma Jean Phillips Warren, 89, of Bellbrook, Ohio, formerly a Scioto County resident, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Kettering Health in Washington Township, Ohio. She was born October 6, 1933 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Stacy Cecil and Ada Sharp Phillips. She was an RN for Scioto County Health Department, and she along with her late husband, Paul owned and operated Warren Funeral Home in New Boston for many years. Wilma was a 50-year member of Wheelersburg Order of Eastern Star, Public Employee Retirees, Inc. and New Boston Kiwanis. She attended Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Wilma is survived by her son, Ross (Kimberly) Warren and two grandchildren, McKinzi Warren and Harrison Ross Warren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Warren on August 18, 1991 whom she married May 21, 1955; two sisters, Mary Margaret Milligan, Leola M. Brown, and two brothers, John Leon Phillips at birth, and Clarence E. Phillips.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Friday, March 24, 2023 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor officiating. Entombment will be at Edgewood Abbey Mausoleum in Memorial Burial Park in Wheelersburg. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. to Noon prior to the service.
